Why the NWBA
The North West does not lack talent. It lacks a mirror.
One of South Africa's most resource-endowed and agriculturally productive provinces — home to ~80% of the world's platinum, 400,000+ registered businesses, and a youth majority — has never had a dedicated business recognition platform worthy of its entrepreneurs. The NWBA is that platform.
“Investing in business is investing in our people. Together, we build a North West that works for everyone.”Read the full vision
The 2026 Campaign
A star is born.
Every great enterprise begins with a single moment of recognition. In 2026, the North West Province takes its rightful place on the national business stage — and the entrepreneurs who built it quietly, brick by brick, finally step into the light.
The inaugural NWBA celebrates our finalists: the businesses changing the province. Support them in the public vote.
The Awards Show
An evening at Sun City Resort.
A blue-carpet arrival, four-course gala dinner, headline entertainment, and 14 award presentations — broadcast live on Platinum North West TV. The most prestigious moment: the Entrepreneur of the Year, presented by the Title Sponsor.
